

Gillian Booth
Originally from Fort Washington, PA, Gillian Booth is a soprano who performs and teaches in the Philadelphia area. She graduated from Temple University's Boyer College of Music with a B.M. in Voice Performance, where she studied with Dr. Julie Bishop.

Gillian is excited to join the faculty of Ambler Music Academy where she seeks to provide an inclusive, safe learning environment that nurtures musical and vocal growth.

Gillian serves as the soprano section leader/cantor at Arch Street United Methodist Church in Center City, Philadelphia. As versatile performer of classical, operatic, musical theater, choral, and contemporary/pop repertoire, she has performed in a wide variety of settings, such as with Temple University Opera Theater, the Ritz Theatre Company, Singchronize A Cappella, the Mendelssohn Club of Philadelphia, SongFest at Colburn, Philadelphia NATS Masterclasses, and LiveWire Electroacoustic Opera Co. Favorite roles include "Witch" in Dido and Aeneas and "Marie-Marie" in Pacamambo.
