Ryan Wilson

 

Ryan Wilson holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Westminster Choir College where he studied classical music and musical theater. His primary voice teachers include Dr. Julie Snyder and Nova Thomas.

 

With a mother who is a vocalist and a grandmother who is a pianist, Ryan has always been surrounded by and had a love for music. He has been singing since before he could talk and playing the piano for over 20 years, with an extensive musical palette ranging from Opera to Broadway, Puccini to My Chemical Romance.

 

Mr. Wilson has performed with various prestigious choral ensembles in the Philadelphia area where has had the privilege to sing under the baton of Yannick Nézet-Séguin and Gustavo Dudamel, as well as share the stage with Sarah Brightman in concert. In addition to performing, Ryan has served as president of the Westminster Players, where he directed numerous musicals, including The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Hair, Sweeney Todd and Nine. He was also a Musical Director and Vocal Coach at Harboro-Horsham High School where he worked with students in Dogfight, Elf Jr. and Newsies. Ryan is a regular soloist at Flourtown Presbyterian Church, as well as a member of their adult choir and handbell choir.

 

Always eager to help people pursue their love of music and performing, Ryan is passionate about teaching. He most enjoys being able to witness his students' musical growth, while also experiencing their joy of discovering music alongside them.
