At Ambler Music Academy, we hope to instill a love of music in each of our students. Students at the Academy develop not only musical talents, but also skills that will help them in any area, including discipline, patience, self-esteem and self-confidence.
AMA’s faculty is comprised of professional musicians and extraordinary educators, each of whom has at least a Bachelors degree in Music. They strive to create an environment that encourages exploration and innovation, and challenges each student to reach their greatest potential.
Private Lessons are offered in bass guitar, cello, double bass, guitar, piano, ukulele, viola, violin and voice.
Ambler Music Academy offers adapted private music lessons to people of all ages with special needs. The Academy’s Board Certified Music Therapists tailor lessons to the needs of each individual and focus on creating an experience that is both enjoyable and productive.
Music Therapists use a wide variety of music based activities to achieve individualized goals including: improving communication skills (expressive and receptive), improving motor function and coordination (both fine and gross motor skills), developing and improving social skills, modifying behavior and addressing emotional needs and self-expression.
At AMA, we offer various enrichment programs, which expand students' skills and caters to their interests. We hope that by participating in these programs, students become more confident, well-rounded musicians.
