Laura Muscelli

Laura holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance with high distinction from the Shreyer Honors College and Penn State University’s School of Music. Her vocal teachers include the Dr. Norman Spivey and Bronwyn Fix-Keller. In addition to studies in the United States, Laura received a grant to study vocal performance in Milan, Italy where she sang with the Civici Coro di Milano and studied with Patrizia Zanardi.

While a classically trained singer, Laura has studied and performed a variety of genres ranging from musical theater to pop music. Her unique background has molded her style of teaching singing, which applies classical technique to contemporary repertoire. It is Laura's mission to make singing a fun and personally fulfilling experience for each of her students.

In addition to teaching at Ambler Music Academy, Laura is the soloist and pianist at weekly children's services at St. Thomas' Church in Whitemarsh. She is also the Music Director for St. Thomas Preschool. Previously Laura was on faculty at Germantown Academy as private voice teacher. Laura is an active member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing.

Laura's students' accomplishments include singing in PMEA District, Regional and All-State Chorus Festivals, studying Musical Theater and Music at collegiate music programs (both in the United States and abroad), being finalists at the National Fine Arts Festival, singing at Carnegie Hall, and being cast at leads in school productions and community theater companies.
