Marly Pred

 

Marly Pred is a board certified music therapist and graduate of Temple University, holding a Bachelor of Music degree is Music Therapy and a minor in Cognitive Neuroscience. Marly has studied voice with Dr. Lorie Gratis Harris and Sue Kloss.

Marly has extensive experience making music with children. She has worked as a Music Therapist at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where she facilitated both individual and group music therapy sessions with over sixty pediatric patients and families. In addition, she previously conducted music therapy sessions with preschoolers at Young Children's Center for the Arts. 

Marly currently serves as the assistant director for Joyful Noise, a New Jersey choir for adults with various disabilities. She also works at an inpatient behavioral hospital, making music with the patients for recreation and  therapeutic benefit. 

 

Marly is originally from Blue Bell and has performed with various groups in the Philadelphia area. Marly is well versed in singing styles of music including opera and classical, jazz, pop, and musical theater, and is excited to share her love of music with her students.
